To all of you taking the step to express your admiration, compliments, kudos, congratulations, or just give someone a pat on the back, we commend you and give to you the first “Pat on the Back.”

PatontheBack.org was created after a conversation I had with a co-worker regarding human nature and our inherent ability to complain and make sure the “right people” hear about it. Whether it be “Corporate”, your parents, classmates, friends, and many others. We are so quick to slam someone but how often do you find yourself handing out the compliments. You may think about how helpful someone was or even express to them your appreciation in the form of a “thank you” but how often do you let others know.

It’s time to Give Someone a Pat on the Back by telling your daughter how well she did in the basketball game or letting your son know how proud you are of getting accepted to the University…telling everyone about the great service you recently received at your local establishment or congratulating your husband on his new promotion. Whatever the case may be, express your satisfaction and happiness with someone/something on PatontheBack.org or just check out what others are saying.

It is ultimately our goal to encourage positive thoughts and feedback to the masses and to make our country a happier place. We appreciate like-minded individuals joining us in this old (currently unused) practice of giving someone a Pat on the Back.
